Eligibility Criteria for Different Category of Membership

1.         Corporate Member: A firm or organization engaged in the manufacturing research, education and services in pulp, paper and related fields and supporting the policies of IPPTA is eligible to become a Corporate Member. There is separate form for Corporate Membership available in IPPTA office.

2.         Affiliate Member: Individual / Library / Commercial People who are interested in the objectives of IPPTA but does not qualify for other category of membership is eligible for this category of member.

3.         Overseas Member: Any individual residing outside India and is qualified to become a member in any one of the categories, is eligible to become an Overseas Member.

4.         Associate Member: An individual having technical training or engaged in work in pulp and paper manufacturing industry or in industries or institutes including recognized educational and research institutions, engaged in rendering services to the pulp and paper industry is eligible for this category of member (B.Sc. / B.Tech / B.E.).

5.         Member: Any Associate member having completed 6 (six) years continuously as Associate Member is eligible to become a Member having voating right of this category.

6.         Life Member: Any Member having completed continuously (10) ten years of membership in Member Category is eligible for this category of member by paying Rs. Five Thousand only (5000/-) once.

7.         Student Member: A bonafide, full time student of an educational institute recognized by Government / Government Constitute bodies for a degree or diploma in Science, Engineering and Technology is eligible for this category of Membership.

Service Provided / Privilege:

  1. All Members will receive IPPTA Journal on complimentary basis.

    2.
  2. All Members can attend IPPTA Seminar / Workshop paying Registration Fee as Member, Life Members, Member and Corporate Member have voting rights (2 Persons of Corporate Member).

Annual Dues: Membership Fees become due on 1st of January of each Calendar Year, In Case of New Enrolments, Irrespective of Date of Enrolment, the Annual Membership Fee is to be paid for the full year. Defaulting Members, whose dues are 3 month in arrears, shall be reminded by IPPTA Secretariat. If the member concern does not respond and clear the dues by 1st June of the current year, their membership is liable to be terminated.
